Ampacet's Marc Cornu confirmed as president of masterbatch and compounder association
During the course of the general assembly held on 7 and 8 November 2018 in Prague / Czech Republic, the association European Masterbatches and Compounders (EuMBC, Brussels / Belgium; www.compounders.eu) re-elected the following board members:
- Marc Cornu (Ampacet) as president
- Massimo Veronelli (Sirmax) as treasurer
- Cristiano Citterio (Lati) as vice president
- Gunther Lübke (Clariant) as vice president
- Valérie Moise (Cabot), succeeding former vice president Nicole Petiniot
- Joan Vuylsteke (A. Schulman)

EuMBC was founded as an EuPC sector group in 2001. Today, the association comprises 18 masterbatch and compounder producers with plants in Europe. As of 2018, two companies joined the association – Italian compounder Mixer (Villa Prati di Bagnacavallo; www.mixercompounds.com), focusing mainly on the cable industry, and US plastics compounder Teknor Apex (Pawtucket, Rhode Island; www.teknorapex.com), which has established a broad presence in Europe.
