German plastics processor Etimex Technical Components (Rottenacker; www.etimex.global) said it plans to focus on injection and blow moulding in future.
As part of a “strategic reorientation”, the company also announced the divestment of its elastomer unit with a domestic plant in Waltershausen, which has been acquired by Erenli Kauçuk (Kemalpaşa, Turkey; www.erenli.com.tr). The company did not disclose financial details.
The Turkish elastomer specialist took ownership of the Waltershausen plant, which now operates as Erenli, at the start of December 2024. Etimex said all employees were retained. Erenli Kauçuk has two further facilities – a domestic one in İzmir and another in Serbia.
