Paul Forman to take over as CEO in January

Paul Forman will take over as CEO of speciality plastic, fibre, foam and packaging producer Essentra (Milton Keynes / UK; www.essentra.com) on 1 January 2017. He succeeds Colin Day, who will remain on the company’s board until April before retiring.
Forman currently serves as chief executive of industrial thread producer Coats Group (Uxbridge / UK; www.coats.com). Before taking on that position, he worked as chief executive of performance materials at Low & Bonar (London / UK; www.lowandbonar.com) and managing director at Unipart International (Oxford / UK; www.unipart.com).
Essentra – the former Filtrona (see Plasteurope.com of 13.06.2013) – specialises in the manufacture of specialist plastic fibre and foam products, with a client base that extends to the beauty, consumer goods, healthcare and tobacco segments.
