Polish film manufacturer commissions new PE stretch film line in Olawa
Warsaw-based film manufacturer Ergis Group (Poland; www.ergis-eurofilms.eu) in Q2 2012 commissioned a new multilayer PE stretch film line in Olawa / Poland, raising its overall capacity at the site to a total of 50,000 t/y. The added output comes at an investment cost of PLN 24m (about EUR 6m). The company also said it had relocated one of three PET film lines operated by its German subsidiary MKF Folien (Berlin; www.mkf-folien.eu) from Germany to Wabrezezno / Poland.

Ergis posted sales of PLN 621m last year, up from PLN 597m in 2010, with a net 2011 profit of PLN 16.2m.
