A lot of companies may have withdrawn from Russia in 2015, but that is not the case for plastics recycling systems and technology provider Erema (Ansfelden / Austria; www.erema.at). At the upcoming “Interplastica” fair (www.interplastica.de), held in Moscow / Russia from 26-29 January 2016, the company will officially introduce its new Russian subsidiary, OOO Erema. Headed by Kalojan Iliev, the company will handle all of Erema’s business in the CIS, with a focus on further developing these markets, distributing company products and offering support in the respective countries.
Local market support will also continue to be offered by Erema’s existing partner in the CIS, Textima Export Import (Berlin / Germany; www.textima.de), in Belarus, the Baltic states, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and by its Russian offices in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Ufa.
The Russian office is the Austrian group’s third subsidiary abroad. Erema also has a presence in Shanghai / China as well as in Ipswich, Massachusetts / USA. The company’s 480 employees posted sales of EUR 130m in financial 2014/15.
