Spanish business is going well for Turkish polyamide materials specialist Epsan (Bursa; www.epsan.com.tr). One year after founding its subsidiary Epsan Iberica in Barcelona – see Plasteurope.com of 04.11.2016 – the company is now expanding in the country with a distribution deal. With immediate effect, Ibiplast (Alicante / Spain) has been appointed distributor for Epsan in the south and southwest (Andalucía, Comunidad Valenciana and Región de Murcia) of Spain. Epsan Iberica has also set up a warehouse to reduce Spain-wide delivery times for PA 6, PA 6.6 as well as PBT compounds supplied from Turkey.

For fiscal 2018, Epsan expects to increase turnover by 20% at its Spanish subsidiary. About 85% of its sales are generated in the automotive industry.
