EPSAN
New carbon fibre-filled grades available / Increasing presence in the defence and aircraft industry
Turkish compounder Epsan (Bursa; www.epsan.com.tr ) says it now offers "Epoplen PP CFR 30 NC" and "Eplamid 6 CFR 30 NC", which are high resistance carbon fibre-filled grades designed specifically for use in the defence industry, aerospace as well as the automotive industry in under the hood applications. Epsan claims both materials have properties of high tensile strength, are ultra lightweight as well as being high-temperature tolerant and possessing low thermal expansion.

Founded in 1976, Epsan is an independent compounder specialising in the production of high-performance polyamide compounds and has two production sites in Turkey with an overall capacity of 22,000 t/y.
