Ensinger (Nufringen / Germany; www.ensinger-online.com) has moved its Austrian headquarters from Lenzing to Seewalchen. The more than 4,000 m2 site – including 3,100 m2 for production and storage – was officially opened on 16 October. The semi-finished products manufacturer invested about EUR 5m in the premises.
Ensinger Sintimid (www.ensinger-sintimid.at) has already begun manufacturing polyimide rods, sheets, and short pipes at the site, which is also home to a storage hall that supplies the local subsidiary’s Austrian customers with POM, PA 6, PA 6.6, PET, PE, PTFE, PPS, PEEK and polyimide products. Ensinger also relocated its compounding business to Seewalchen. The company’s P84 polyimide powder production, by contrast, remains in Lenzing.
