Paul Caprio becomes new head of North America branch / Move from KraussMaffei

At the beginning of 2020, Paul Caprio was appointed president of Engel’s (Schwertberg / Austria; www.engelglobal.com) North America subsidiary in York, Pennsylvania / USA. He will manage the plastics machinery manufacturer’s sales and service branch with Mark Sankovitch, who has been president and CEO since 2009. Sankovitch is planning to retire at the end of 2021.
Caprio has worked in the plastics machinery sector for 30 years, with a major period of this at KraussMaffei (Munich / Germany; www.kraussmaffei.com) and the past ten years as president of KraussMaffei Corporation (Florence, Kentucky / USA). He left the position in mid-2019, and his successor in Florence, Kentucky, is Charlie Rogers since 3 September 2019.
