Thomas Körmendi to become CEO of Norwegian packaging group

Thomas Körmendi will take over management of composite cartons manufacturer Elopak (Oslo / Norway; www.elopak.com) on 1 April 2018. Körmendi is currently the CEO of Norwegian packaging specialist Kezzler (Oslo; www.kezzler.com), and was previously vice president and head of North Europe at Elopak competitor Tetra Pak (Pully / Switzerland; www.tetrapak.com).

His predecessor Niels Petter Wright announced his resignation in September. Wright is continuing in his position during the transition period, leading Europe's third-largest composite cartons producer (see Plasteurope.com of 12.09.2017).
