ABS producer Elix Polymers (Tarragona / Spain; www.elix-polymers.com) has signed a distribution agreement with T&P Plastic (Ljubljana / Slovenia; www.tpplastic.si). The company will distribute Elix Polymers' ABS products in Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia. T&P Plastic has four warehouses in Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia and Romania. The deal covers the entire range of ABS polymers, including blends and compounds, that Elix manufactures in Spain.

Elix says it wants to strengthen its existing partnership with the holding company of T&P Plastic, the Italian Mida Group (www.midasrl.info). In Italy, Elix's products are distributed by Mito Polimeri (Treviso / Italy; www.mitopolimeri.it), which also belongs to the Mida Group.

According to Sandro Cara, business manager ABS at Elix, the regions covered by the deal with T&P Plastic are among the "most interesting in Europe." T&P Plastic offers an extensive distribution network, technical support and logistics throughout the region. Key ABS applications, such as in the appliances, electronics, automotive, sports and leisure markets, are showing solid growth in southeastern European countries.
