Carlos Mueller appointed business director of Spanish ABS producer

Carlos Mueller became the business director of ABS producer Elix Polymers (Tarragona / Spain; www.elix-polymers.com) on 13 April. In his new role, he will oversee global business operations at the company, which last year optimised its supply chain to allow it to deliver product within four days (see Plasteurope.com of 08.09.2014).
Mueller has 20 years of experience in the petrochemical and plastics markets, and began his career at BASF. He most recently served as vice president EMEA and Asia at LyondellBasell, where he was responsible for commodity and speciality polyolefins.
