Elix Polymers (Tarragona / Spain; www.elix-polymers.com) recently signed an agreement with AMP Alpha Matières Plastiques (Bennwihr / France; www.amp.fr) to distribute its ABS products in France and the Maghreb. This distribution agreement includes the entire product range offered by the Spanish ABS producer. The existing Elix partnerships in the French market are not affected by the new arrangement.

Elix Polymers are known for their pre-coloured acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and ABS specialty thermoplastic resins which possess high impact and mechanical strength. These plastics are used for manufacturing high-end consumer goods, consumer electronics, medical devices and automotive dashboards.

Created out of a merger between Alsace Plastics and Alpha Plastic Industry in 2007, the Alsatian-based AMP specialises in the distribution of technical polymers to France and the Maghreb.
