Polish stretch film specialist expands capacity / First line due on stream in 2019
Stretch film specialist Zaklad Produkcji Folii Efekt Plus (Warsaw / Poland; www.efekt-stretch.com) has begun construction of a new 15,000 m² building that will house production lines together with warehousing and offices at its site in the special economic zone Rzeszów-Dworzysko / Poland. The company intends to launch one of the production lines at the end of 2019, expanding capacity by 25,000 t/y.
Efekt Plus has two plants, one in Rzeszów and another at the Aeropolis Scientific and Technology Park in Rogoznica / Croatia. Both facilities are equipped with five lines producing a total of about 120,000 t/y.
The company added a new PE stretch film line at its plant in Rogoznica in September 2015. According to Efekt Plus, it is the world’s first six-metre stretch film line and has a capacity of 40,000 t/y.
