The manufacture and worldwide distribution of "ADI 50 fresh-keeping and malodor control masterbatch" for LDPE films are the main business activity of E-I-A Warenhandel GmbH (Hietzinger Hauptstr. 50, A-1130 Vienna). Because of the "huge success" of this masterbatch, a modification for use with polypropylene is currently being developed. In addition, the market launch of an E-I-A masterbatch for polyamide and polystyrene is set for autumn of this year. The "ADI 50" additive is used primarily in packaging technology to keep fruit, vegetables and flowers fresh.

E-I-A currently has trader and customer connections, some of them exclusive, in several countries including Italy, Israel, Columbia, Brazil and New Zealand. In Europe, the company distributes PA 6 resins produced by Custom Resins Corp, Kentucky, Henderson / USA, which manufactures resins for moulding and extrusion as well as by-products for the supply sector to the automobile industry.
