Roper Industries (Duluth, Georgia / USA; www.roperind.com) has acquired Dynisco (Franklin, Massachusetts / USA; www.dynisco.com) from private equity group Audax (Boston, Massachusetts; www.audaxgroup.com) for USD 243m (EUR 184m). Dynisco supplies software and test, measurement and control technologies and owns brands including Alpha Technologies and Viatran. Dynisco´s 2007 EBITDA are expected to exceed USD 28m on sales of over USD 100m. Brian Jellison, chairman, president and CEO of Roper Industries, said that Dynisco would become a growth driver within Roper´s sensor technologies and measurement business. Dynisco will become part of the company´s energy systems & controls segment, and will work closely with other divisions on sensor technology development and applications.
