Plans to expand Knowledge Centre in Hyderabad / Reflecting importance of strategic Indian market
Four years after it was first set up, DuPont’s (Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) Knowledge Centre in Hyderabad / India is planning an expansion at the hub, including additional space and facilities to drive both global research and application developments tailored to the Indian market. Investment costs were not disclosed, and the company also did not specify when the expansion would be completed.
The project includes new application development facilities for key DuPont businesses, including Performance Polymers, Packaging & Industrial Polymers as well as Titanium Technologies, among others. Commenting on the plans, Rajeev Vaidya, president of DuPont South Asia, said, “The proposed expansion at the DuPont Knowledge Centre demonstrates the company’s focus on India, a strategic market for DuPont.”
