Extended distribution arrangement with Biesterfeld Plastic now covers North Africa and Ukraine
DuPont Performance Polymers (DPP, Wilmington, Delaware / USA; www.dupont.com) has built on its existing collaboration with German distributor Biesterfeld Plastic (Hamburg; www.biesterfeld-plastic.com). On 1 September, the latter started distributing DPP’s resins portfolio in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia, and on 1 October the arrangement was further widened to include Ukraine.
The collaboration includes DuPont’s “Crastin” PBT, “Delrin” acetal, “Elvamide”, “Hytrel” TPC-ET, “Hytrel” renewable sourced, “Minlon” PA, “Rynite” PET, “Sorona” EP, “Zytel” PA, “Zytel Plus”, “Zytel” HTN and “Zytel” renewably sourced grades.
The two companies first started cooperating in 1987, when Biesterfeld Plastic took on the distribution of DPP’s resins in Germany. The arrangement has since been extended to the Benelux states, France, Poland, Italy, Spain, Austria, CEE, Portugal, Greece, Switzerland and Turkey.
