The Engineering Plastics business of DSM (Sittard / The Netherlands; www.dsm.com) has strengthened its existing partnerships with distributors Nexeo Solutions (Europe: Barcelona / Spain; www.nexeosolutions.com), Resinex (Arendonk / Belgium; www.resinex.com) and Ter Plastics Polymer (Herne / Germany; www.terplastics.com). Without providing further details on who will oversee which market, the Dutch group said the move is aimed at strengthening its position across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, while also improving its market share. The unit’s entire portfolio will be made available to EMEA customers on 1 January 2016, DSM added.

Nexeo has been marketing DSM Engineering Plastics' portfolio in Italy since 2013 (see Plasteurope.com of 23.07.2013), while Resinex has been handling the company’s distribution in Turkey, south-eastern Europe and Switzerland, among others. In the latter country, the company has been working with Ter Plastics Polymer, too (see also Plasteurope.com of 10.10.2011).
