After five years in the post, Gerard de Reuver has elected to step down as president of DSM Dyneema (Urmond / Niederlande; www.dyneema.com) on 1 August 2015. He will be succeeded by Golnar Motahari Pour, a German national with extensive global management experience. The transition will begin immediately, and be completed by the end of next month. As of 1 August, de Reuver will take on a new role in a corporate culture project, reporting to Dimitri de Vreeze, member of the DSM managing board.
Motahari Pour has been engaged with the company in the last couple of months, as an independent business strategy and operations consultant. From 1993 to 2007 she held several management positions at General Electric in the plastics, silicones and consumer products businesses. Prior to joining DSM, she was responsible for Emerald Kalama Chemical’s plasticiser business in Europe and the Middle East.
