New PE grades for rotational moulding
Dow Europe (Horgen / Switzerland; www.dow.com) has extended its family of "Dowlex" products for rotational moulding. Two new PE compounds are available as powders (Dowlex 2629.10 UE and 2631.10 UE) and as granules (Dowlex 2629 UE and 2631 UE). Dow claims they have a markedly wider processing window and a shorter moulding cycle than the previous grades (Dowlex NG 2429 UE, NG 2431 UE, NG 2429.10 UE and 2431.10 UE) while maintaining their good stress crack resistance.
