The new Web site organises information by specific geographic regions. Users of the site move from an initial home page to one of the regional home pages, each of which is divided into five sections: “About Dow” gives a broad company view and offers links to other Dow business sites, including Polyurethanes Systems Houses, Dow Automotive and Dow Polyurethane Carpet Backings. “Product Section” offers access to Dow Polyurethanes product information either by generic product type, for example, polyols and icocyanates; Dow product trade name, such as “Isonate” or “Voranol”, or by markets and applications. Whichever route is chosen, the key characteristics of the product are viewed in tabular form and technical data sheets can be downloaded.
