With immediate effect, polyamide producer Domo Chemicals (Leuna, Germany; www.domochemicals.com) has appointed Juha Jokinen as the chief sales officer. He succeeds Ludovic Tonnerre, who is to take on “a new strategic task” in the company. However, a spokesperson did not say what this would be when asked by Plasteurope.com.

Jokinen has worked for styrenics producer Trinseo (Berwyn, Pennsylvania, USA; www.trinseo.com) for the past four years, most recently as vice-president of the polycarbonate and compounds division. The company has, however, given up polycarbonate production completely. 

The new CSO is to accelerate the development of sustainable polyamide solutions at Domo and expand its global presence in application segments such as mobility, consumer goods, and electronics.
