DK CODIM
New NGH injection moulding machine with clamp force from 250 to 18,000kN
"Thirty years of experience, innovation and progress have made our company an indispensable partner for the plastics industry," Alain Hemidy, sales director of French injection moulding machinery manufacturer DK Codim (PO Box 50, B-95502 Gonesse Cedex), told visiting German journalists. Injection moulding machines of the most modern design, primarily with a clamp force in the range 250 to 12,000 kN, belong to its portfolio and are manufactured on a site outside Paris. DK Codim's first electronically controlled machine was introduced at the "Europlastique" exhibition in 1978.
For journalists, the company displayed its new "NGH" series of injection moulding machines, which Hemidy said are a result of "knowhow, continuous observation of market needs and a dialogue with the plastics industry." The machinery is available with clamp force ranging from 250 to 18,000 kN and injection volume from 75 to 17,200 (according to the Euromap standard) and is said to be suitable for a variety of applications, ranging from simple consumer articles to packaging and technically demanding moulded parts.
DK Codim emphasises its special experience with "critical technologies," such as double and parallel injection. Its specific range encompasses horizontal and vertical closure systems with two or more injection units. The company also has experience in processing thermosets and elastomers, especially long-fibre BMC-type thermosets. Peripherals such as robots, takeoff and measuring equipment also belong to its portfolio.
