UK thermoplastics and elastomers seller Distrupol (Chertsey; www.distrupol.com) has announced it is adding operations across the majority of the EMEA region.

The company said it will operate additional sales, service and distribution hubs in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, adding to existing facilities in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, Benelux, and Egypt. Newly recruited sales representatives across multiple countries will serve customers, the company said.

James Stanton, commercial and operations director at Distrupol, said the company has distribution agreements in place with a number of key suppliers to deliver a full portfolio of polyamides, acetal, polyethylene, polypropylene, acrylic, ABS, polycarbonate, additives, compounds, and masterbatches.

Distrupol’s recent business expansion activities include 2023’s establishment of US operations called Distrupol USA, the purchase of Finnish wholesaler Baritec in 2022, and Copenhagen-based distributor Lautrup Chemicals a year earlier.
