Now operating as Sumitomo Demag Plastics

Demag Plastics (DPG, Schwaig / Germany; www.dpg.com), which manufactures injection moulding equipment, has been renamed following its acquisition by Sumitomo Heavy Industries (SHI, Tokyo / Japan; www.shi.co.jp) – see Plasteurope.com of 13.03.2008. Since 25 October 2008 it has been operating as Sumitomo (SHI) Demag Plastics Machinery.
