Spanish masterbatch specialist raises revenue / January-April turnover jumps over 20%

Delta Tecnic (Sant Celoni, Spain; www.deltatecnic.com), a masterbatch specialist for PVC and cables, said revenue grew 12% from 2020 to EUR 50.9 mn last year. In the first four months of 2022, turnover increased 21.4%, the company noted.
Some 30% of its clients come from the energy sector, 25% from construction, and 20% from automotive. The company plans to expand its presence in the North America continent from Mexico, where it started a masterbatch plant in Queretaro in 2020 and aims to enter Asian markets too.

The company, which is 40% owned by Spanish private equity group Aurica Capital (Barcelona; www.auricacapital.com), has 200 employees and three factories with its two domestic sites in Sant Celoni and the Mexican facility. Its 22 production lines are said to have a combined masterbatch and compounding capacity of 18,000 t/y.
