Mikael Petersson is the new CEO of Dellner Polymer Solutions (Burton upon Trent / UK; www.dellnerwoodville.com), a subsidiary of the Dellner Bubenzer Group (Borlänge / Sweden; www.dellnerbubenzergroup.com). Petersson most recently served as CEO of the Swedish company Swedrive, which manufactures electromechanical cylinders, jacks and worm gear drives for industrial sectors.

He succeeds Frank Walsh, the former managing director of the rubber-metal components specialist acquired by Dellner in 2019, Silentbloc UK. Walsh was leading the division on an interim basis, which included Silentbloc and Dellner Woodville, acquired in 2009. Dellner Polymer Solutions manufactures flexible rubber fabrications, structures and semi-rigid solutions. Its technical plastic parts include pressure seals for brakes.

The Dellner group formed in 2019 and is a privately owned Swedish engineering company with roots in the railway industry. It employs almost 700 people. In addition to its British subsidiary, Sweden’s Dellner Brakes (www.dellner-brakes.com), Germany’s Pintsch Bubenzer (www.pintschbubenzer.com) and Italy’s brake specialist Rima (www.rimagroup.com) belong to Dellner Bubenzer. The group’s CEO is Marcus Aberg.
