Humblet to be new CEO

Window profile manufacturer Deceuninck (Hooglede-Gits / Belgium; www.deceuninck.com) is set to have a new CEO, with 56-year-old Bruno Humblet scheduled to take the helm at the beginning of 2022. Humbelt’s predecessor Francis Van Eeckhout is to return to the board of directors to become its chairman. Van Eeckhout, – also a shareholder in the company – had taken over the position of CEO on an interim basis in 2016 after the departure of Tom Debusschere.

Humblet was CEO of steel rope manufacturer Bridon Bekaert Ropes Group until 2018, and before that, CFO of the Bekaert Group. In October 2020, he was appointed to the Deceuninck board of directors as an independent director.
