Sales nearly 11% up in 2005
PVC windows and profiles manufacturer Deceuninck (Hooglede-Gits / Belgium; www.deceuninck.com) has reported fourth quarter 2005 sales of EUR 169m, up 19% on the same period in 2004. This brings total annual sales to EUR 644m, an increase of 10.6% on the previous year. European sales rose a modest 3%, but North America saw an increase of over 12%, thanks mainly to strong second half performance resulting from a "vigorous" market in new construction and renovation. Sales in Turkey rose by over 65% due in part to the contribution from the Winsa division of Pilsa Plastik Sanayi, acquired by Deceuninck in late 2004.
