DECEUNINCK
Acquisition of extrusion business in France / Seven-year supply agreement with Atlantem
Belgian group Deceuninck NV (B-8830 Hooglede-Gits; www.deceuninck.com), a leading producer of PVC-U window systems and building profiles, has acquired for an undisclosed sum the integral extrusion site of Atlantem, a subsidiary of France´s VM Materiaux (www.vm-materiaux.fr), based at Noyal-Pontivy. Deceuninck has agreed to exclusively supply dedicated window and door profiles to Atlantem for seven years.

The Belgian group said the deal will “substantially contribute” to sales of its French subsidiary Deceuninck S.A.. The Deceuninck group and a company later acquired by VM Materiaux have been cooperating since 1986. The supply agreement of dedicated Deceuninck joinery systems to all of VM Materiaux´s joinery fabricating companies later was extended. With sales of over EUR 300m in 2001, the French group produces more than 100,000 PVC windows annually.
