Following the merging of Dominion Colour (DCC, Toronto, Ontario / Canada) and Lansco Colors (Pearl River, New York / USA) in 2018, the companies announced a renaming to DCL (Toronto, Ontario; www.pigments.com) on 6 March 2020. DCL aims to be a leading global supplier of organic and inorganic pigments and dispersions for the plastics, coatings and inks industries.
The North America-based company is a large importer of organic pigments from Asia, with some organic pigments toll produced using its formulas and raw materials. DCL also supplies aluminium paste from Sweden, anti-corrosive pigments from Norway, ultramarine blues from India, lead chromate from Japan and Mexico, titanium dioxide from the Ukraine and chromium oxide green from five sources. The company has manufacturing facilities in Canada, the Netherlands and the UK as well as technical sales offices in the Americas, Asia and Europe.
