DAVENTRY THERMOFORMING
Automotive and packaging thermoformer adds fifth line
UK-based company Daventry Thermforming (Daventry; www.daventrythermoformingltd.co.uk) has expanded its operations with the purchase of new thermoforming machinery and equipment from Ridat (London / UK; www.ridat.com). Daventry produces thermoformed PVC and high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) protective coverings for car interiors and blister packaging for the DIY industry.

The thermoformer purchased a new Ridat “4848ATF” heavy-duty automatic reel-fed inline large format thermoforming machine and a Ridat “546RCP” roller cutting press adapted for its needs. This purchase complements the four Ridat “3035ATF” machines already in operation at its factory.

Ridat manufactures manual, semi-automatic and automotive industrial vacuuming forming machines and automatic pressure forming machines. Its product line also includes blister packaging systems, a blister sealing press and a skin packaging machine as well as related ancillaries including a roller cutting press.

In addition to manufacturing protective covers for the car interior, Daventry Thermoforming supplies roof vents for the building sector. The UK company also manufactures packaging and transport trays, spray jigs and spray masks.
