Holly Lei announced as president of Covestro China

German engineering plastics producer Covestro (Leverkusen; www.covestro.com) has appointed Holly Lei as the new president of its activities in China. She will officially take up her new position on 1 July 2019, succeeding Bjoern Skogum, who will retire from Covestro after 33 years on 30 June 2019.
Originally starting out at Bayer MaterialScience in 1999, before the company was renamed into Covestro, Lei has held a variety of management positions over the last 20 years. She will retire from her most recent responsibilities as global head of Electrical, Electronics and Appliances (EE&A) at Covestro’s Polycarbonates business unit for the new position.
