Coveris (Chicago, Illinois / USA; www.coveris.com) has introduced a range of PP trays for fresh food packaging. Produced at the packaging giant’s facility in Siemianowice Slaskie / Poland, the light-weight trays have been developed with a shape to differentiate products and enhance presentation, the company said.
The 182 mm x 142 mm trays provide protection for fresh food products throughout the supply chain and are available in 50 mm and 70 mm depths. They are available in blue, black or transparent variants. Coveris said the trays are particularly suited to packaging for green salads and have been used by Tesco stores since December 2013.
