Czech auto and aircraft parts supplier to expand Chocen facility
Czech composite parts manufacturer Composite Components (Chocen; www.compositecomponents.eu) is to expand its production facility at group headquarters. Local news agency Ceska informacni agentura said the company had applied for an environmental impact assessment to increase output from 80 t/y to 300 t/y in an expansion that will create 170 new jobs at the plant.
The Chocen facility supplies a number of manufacturers in the automotive and aircraft sectors with moulds, models and completed components. Its significant customers include local commercial vehicle makers, Iveco Czech Republic (http://web.iveco.com) and SOR Libchavy (http://sor.cz) as well as aircraft producer JMB Aircraft. The company produces the majority of its output using polyester and epoxy resins and glass, carbon and carbon-kevlar fibres.
