COLORTRONIC
Separation from the K-Tron Group / Sales and service network unchanged
Effective June 23, Colortronic GmbH (Otto-Hahn Str 20, D-61381 Friedrichdorf) with its several subsidiaries has separated from K-Tron International Inc (Europe: KTron Holding AG (CH-5702 Niederlenz). All product names and patents in the area of plastics technology, including the complete "Graviblend" range, previously owned by K-Tron International Inc, have now been transferred to Colortronic GmbH. Spin-off from the K-Tron Group was by a management buy-out organised by Marcel Rohr and Martin Schuler, both previously in the management of K-Tron International Inc.
According to Colortronic, the take-over will ensure continuity in the commercial and technological development. Their new independence will allow them to further develop their range of products. Their sales and service network will continue unchanged. Colortronic Inc has been formed in Blackwood, New Jersey to service the North American market. Marcel Rohr is Director of Colortronic GmbH with responsibilities for Sales, R & D and Production with Martin Schuler as Director for Finance, Accounting and Administration. The company has been a leading producer of high quality automation technology for the plastics industry for the last 25 years. It was taken over by K-Tron International in April 1992.
