Italian PU manufacturer begins expansion in US
PU and composites specialist Coim (Settimo Milanese / Italy; www.coimgroup.com) has broken ground on an expansion of its production of polyester polyols and prepolymers in West Deptford, New Jersey / USA. The total capacity of the plant near Philadelphia is expected to more than double with the measure.
Construction, including new production and packaging lines, is expected to be completed by early 2020. The amount of the investment for the project has not been disclosed.
