The PU, composite and coatings specialist Coim (Settimo Milanese / Italy; www.coimgroup.com) inaugurated its first system house and warehousing facility for polyurethanes in India, located at Footwear Park, Bahadurgarh, about 40 km from New Delhi. Group’s president Mario Buzzella, co-founder of Coim, lit up the auspicious lamp to signify the opening of the new site. In his address to the participants Claudio Zocchi reiterated the importance of the Indian market in the overall business strategy of Coim in the Asia Pacific region.

The new system house, with a fully equipped laboratory, will further enhance the capabilities of Coim India in the polyurethane footwear business. The Indian site will also support the commercial operation of other Coim’s polyurethane specialties business units including TPU (Laripur), Hot Cast Elastomers (Imuthane) and Flexible Packaging Adhesives (Novacote).
