While the company, which is primarily known as a distributor on the market, purchased a laboratory compounder five years ago, this has been used first and foremost for sampling and small volumes, a spokesperson explained.
ClickPlastics reports that the new plant with seven weighing systems is designed in such a way that it can compound numerous types of plastics from polypropylene to PEEK and bio-based materials.
“We can now develop specially tailored materials with our customers and our in-house development department and, if required, compound them directly on our premises,” says CEO Wolfgang Eberle. “This enables us to enormously shorten our development times.”

In the 25 years since it was founded, ClickPlastics has grown into a company with 15 employees and annual sales of some EUR 60 mn.
