CLARIANT
New plastic additives provide effect- and segment-specific solutions
Swiss speciality chemicals producer Clariant (Muttenz; www.clariant.com) has introduced the “AddWorks” and “AddWorks” LXR brand of polymer additives. The former provides application-oriented solutions aimed at specific segments in the plastics industry, while the latter has been developed to add particular effects across a wide variety of applications.

The materials have been developed to meet the needs of customers’ technologies in polymerisation, production, compounding and converting, addressing requirements in a specific way. Clariant says the additives provide a range of benefits including improved productivity, stability and durability of plastic parts as well as protection of manufactured components during the production process.
