Immediate delivery of universal masterbatches in any quantity / Multi-purpose compatible carrier
Clariant Masterbatches UK (Bryn, Wigan; www.clariant.masterbatches.com) has rationalised its “Omnicolor” range of universal colours and now offers immediate delivery of 80 of the most popular formulations in small or large quantities. All products are based on a multi-purpose compatible carrier system that can be used in conjunction with almost any polymer at a let-down ration of 100:1. This is only one-quarter the concentration of the 25:1 ratio typical for most colour masterbatches, the company said.

In addition to these 80 stock masterbatches, Clariant says it can deliver another 117 standard colours within seven working days in quantities as small as 50 kg. All products are cadmium- and heavy metal-free and all the stock colours meet UK and European food contact and toy application requirements for their intended applications. Clariant’s UK development centre, where the Omnicolor technology originates, is linked to more than 60 other Clariant technical and manufacturing facilities in 34 countries.
