Distribution agreement with Euroink Romania / Second foray into eastern Europe in 2011
On the heels of having signed a distribution agreement with Poland’s BioWorks PI – see Plasteurope.com of 17.01.2011Cereplast (El Segundo, California / USA; www.cereplast.com) has taken yet another step towards expanding its service in eastern Europe. On 19 January, the US bio-based plastics manufacturer announced that it had entered into a distribution agreement with flexographic ink and solvent manufacturer Euroink Romania (Bucharest / Romania; www.euroinkromania.ro) to service the local market. The latter also distributes raw materials, masterbatches and other products for the plastics industry.

As part of the deal, Cereplast is to privide Euroink Romania with its compostable and sustainables resins for use in its materbatch process for adding colorant to resins.
