One of the major packaging companies in North America, CCL Industries Inc. (Toronto, Ontario / Canada; www.cclind.com), is to acquire all three European plants of the packaging label division of Avery Dennison Materials (Pasadena, California / USA; www.averydennison.com) for around CAD 85m (EUR 55.8m) including restructuring costs. The three plants focus on self-adhesive labels for health care, cosmetics and food.
