BUFATEC SPAIN
Expansion into Brazilian wind power market
Spanish composite moulding equipment manufacturer BUFAtec Spain (Polinyà; www.bufatec.es), a subsidiary of German group BÜFA, intends to expand its presence in Brazil in the wind power sector. In 2014, BUFAtec signed an exclusive agreement with Dilutec (Piracicaba / Brazil; www.dilutec.com.br) for the distribution of its products in Brazil.
“We want to repeat in Brazil our successful experience providing equipment to global manufacturers. In fact, many of these manufacturers already operate in the country, something that will make it simpler for us to have our equipment approved,” says Rafael Recio, director of BUFAtec. He recommends BUFAtec's "UNI 250" and "UNI 125" products for wind turbine blades and spinners, respectively.
According to Marcos Pannellini, commercial manager of Dilutec, BUFAtec’s operation is backed by local technical support and a maintenance parts warehouse in Piracicaba, at one of Dilutec’s plants – the company also has a unit in Senador Canedo / Brazil. Dilutec is the distributor of BUFAtec's equipment in Latin America.
