Pharma packaging division had EUR 200m turnover in 2016 / Plans to expand in the Americas and Asia this year

Pharmaceutical packaging producer Bormioli Rocco Pharma (Fidenza / Italy; www.bormioliroccopackaging.com) has a positive outlook for 2017. Sales director Andrea Fulvi reviewed last year's budget and announced the company's 2017 sales strategies in a recent interview.
In 2016, the Pharma business unit, representing about 50% of the Bormioli Rocco group, had a total turnover of more than EUR 200m. According to the company, following the strong performance in 2016, this year is off to a good start for Bormioli Rocco Pharma and the division is expanding its production with substantial investments in plastics and glass packaging plants. Fulvi also detailed the plans for 2017, including consolidation (the Pharma unit closed several multi-year contracts in Q1 of 2017), expansion (more than 40 new customers were acquired in Q1 of 2017) and product innovation.
