Acquisition of Bulgarian recycler Integra Plastics completed
Polyolefins group Borealis (Vienna; www.borealisgroup.com) said it has closed the deal to acquire all of the shares of Bulgarian recycler Integra Plastics (Elin Pelin; www.integra-plastics.com), which operates a modern advanced mechanical recycling plant with an output capacity of over 20,000 t/y. Integra Plastics transforms post-consumer waste into high-quality polyolefin recyclates suitable for demanding applications.

Borealis said the acquisition strengthens its own speciality and circular portfolio, enabling the company to meet growing demand for sustainable solutions. Borealis first announced the acquisition of Integra Plastics last November.
