Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder appointed executive VP Polyolefins and Innovation & Technology

Lucrèce Foufopoulos-De Ridder has been appointed as Borealis' (Vienna / Austria; www.borealisgroup.com) next executive vice president for Polyolefins and Innovation & Technology. As of 1 January 2019, she will succeed Alfred Stern, who has been CEO of the polyolefins producer since July 2018 – see Plasteurope.com of 09.04.2018.
Foufopoulos-De Ridder has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical and petrochemical industries. She previously held a variety of positions at multinationals including Dow, Rohm and Haas, Dow Corning and Tyco. Most recently, she was VP and general manager of Eastman Chemical's Rubber Additives business unit.
