Trade company Bodo Möller Kemi Danmark (Stenløse / Denmark), part of German distributor Bodo Möller Chemie (Offenbach; www.bm-chemie.de), has acquired Nortec-Cannon’s (Humlebæk / Denmark; www.nortec-cannon.dk) trade business, which includes products from Huntsman's (Salt Lake City, Utah / USA; www.huntsman.com) Advanced Materials unit. The purchase further strengthens Bodo Möller’s existing relationship with Huntsman Advanced Materials while simultaneously expanding the activities of its Danish subsidiary.

Meanwhile, machinery specialist Nortec-Cannon has decided to focus on its core business. As part of that, the company on 1 September acquired Hovmand’s (Sorø / Denmark; www.hovmand.com) PU machinery business, which now operates as Nortec-Hovmand.
