German distributor opens subsidiary in Slovakia / Catering to Slovak and Czech markets
German chemicals distributor Bodo Möller (Offenbach; www.bm-chemie.de) has announced the opening of a new affiliate in Slovakia to cater to the needs of the Czech and Slovak markets. The new office expands Bodo Möller’s footprint in eastern Europe. The group already operates a subsidiary in Poland. Located in Bratislava, Bodo Möller Chemie Czech & Slovakia (Slovakia; www.bm-chemie.sk; www.bm-chemie.cz) will be headed by Andreas Hamacher.
In August this year the German group had signed an agreement with Italy’s SIR Industriale (Macherio; www.sirindustriale.com) for the distribution of the latter’s “Sirester” range of unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl ester resins as well as its “Eposir” family of reactive diluents in the Czech Republic and Slovakia – see Plasteurope.com of 23.08.2011.
